Burke’s Oasis Caribbean & West Indian Restaurant Grand Opening

(Hartford, CT) – Hartford’s Mayor Luke Bronin and President Maxien Robinson-Lewin of the Greater Hartford Branch National Association for the Advancement of Colored people (NAACP), will join members of the community in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 99 maple Avenue in Hartford to celebrate the grand opening of Burke’s Oasis Caribbean & West Indian Restaurant

“Certainly, an historic moment for Burke’s Oasis and we’re extremely proud to invest within the city of Hartford,” said Archbishop Dexter Burke, owner. Our amazing staff have always been focused on taking great

care of our customers by providing a superior in-store experience and incredible food. We couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds for this new venture, the city of Hartford and the customers we serve,” said Archbishop Burke

With Connecticut restaurants still struggling with state-mandated, in-house dining restrictions, Amber Burke,

co-owner believes that there is a market for Caribbean and West Indian food given the diversity within the city. (Photo by Marc Yves Regis).
