These distinguished Connecticut State Troopers gathered Friday (2-11-23) on then steps of the State Capital. In 1995 there were only about 15 black trooper men only.
Today in celebration of Black History they along with the new breed of men and women Troopers gather to show long awaited progress. We all are so proud of them and all CT State Troopers. And support them for continuing the quest fir justice for all. Inquiring News was the only media, to capture this historic moment. And in the (center) in plain clothes is Mr. Fred Abrams, retire detective of the CT State Police. Who continue to inspire the troops and remind them of their added responsibility to reach back to the younger generation and to show them how being a trooper is a rewarding career. And to consider becoming a CT State Trooper. (Story/Photo by Reggie Hales)
